PHOTOS: Hartland beats South Lyon East to win district title

The Hartland Eagles started slowly in Friday's Class A district championship game at Howell High School, falling behind 6-0 in the first half of the first quarter, but went on to roll over South Lyon East the rest of the way, winning easily, 61-21.

Hartland (18-5) advances to the regional at Walled Lake Western on Tuesday, and will face Dexter. The Dreadnaughts (14-9) were a 27-23 winner over Ann Arbor Pioneer in their own district championship game on Friday.
